COMMUNITY SERVICE
NCJW Rockland’s focus is on having a positive impact in the lives of those we serve. Volunteers are in the community–assisting women, inspiring children and engaging at-risk families. We work in schools, camps, pantries, shelters, on the phone and in collaboration with other service organizations. NCJW Rockland strengthens our community.
…I am a single mother of 7 children. I wanted to express my gratitude for the generosity of the National Council of Jewish Women, BBBS Camp Scholarship fund and the YMCA for providing 4 weeks of camp for 4 of my children. …As a result of the scholarships that have been provided over the past few years, I have witnessed them grow in so many ways. They all have been able to gain confidence and social skills that have enriched their experiences both in school and at home and allowed them to reach their highest potential. Also, it has been a huge financial blessing that I would otherwise be unable to provide for them. …Again, thank you immensely for your generosity.
